Sports Complex Rules
The shared expectations that keep our courts safe, fast, and fair for everyone who plays here. Read once before your first event — these are what staff will reference if there's ever a question.
On the courts
- Non-marking, indoor athletic shoes only — no metal cleats, dress shoes, or street shoes on the playing surface.
- No food or open drinks on the courts. Sealed water bottles only.
- No hanging on rims, dunking on portable goals, or kicking volleyballs into bleachers.
- Equipment stays on the assigned court — do not move basketballs, volleyball poles, or scoreboards without staff approval.
- Players wait off the playing surface until their court is clear and staff signals to enter.
Spectators & guests
- Admission is required at the door for tournament play (kids under 5 free). Cash and card accepted.
- Spectators stay in designated viewing areas — bleachers and standing areas behind the baseline.
- Outside food and drink are limited to the designated lobby seating; please no full meals on the bleachers.
- Strollers must be parked in the lobby, not in the bleacher aisles.
- Service animals welcome; non-service pets are not permitted inside the facility.
Conduct
- We expect respectful behavior toward referees, opposing teams, staff, and spectators at all times.
- Profanity, taunting, or aggressive behavior toward officials or staff is grounds for immediate removal.
- Any physical altercation is grounds for ejection from the facility and potential ban from future events.
- Refunds are not issued for ejections.
Parking & lobby
- Park in marked spots only. Fire lanes and ADA spots are enforced — vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
- Leave the front-door overhang clear for pickup/drop-off only.
- Lobby seating is shared among all visitors during peak events; please don't reserve full benches for one team.
Health & safety
- Anyone visibly ill (fever, persistent cough, active injury) must wait in the lobby or leave the facility.
- First-aid is available at the front desk. For emergencies, dial 911 immediately and notify staff.
- Lost-and-found items are held at the front desk for 30 days; unclaimed items are donated.
Liability & waiver
- All participants must have a current waiver on file before stepping on the court (parents sign on behalf of minors).
- Inspire Courts AZ is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
- By entering the facility you consent to occasional photography and video used for promotional purposes; opt out by emailing the front desk.
Questions or want to flag something? Email the front desk or stop by — we'd rather sort it out face-to-face than via a complaint form.
