Delete Your Account
This page explains how to delete your Inspire Courts account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to accounts created on https://www.inspirecourts.com and in the Inspire Courts mobile app.
The short version
- In the app or portal: open your profile and tap Delete Account.
- No login access? Email clarksportsmanagement@gmail.com and we'll delete it for you.
- Your account and personal data are removed within 30 days (usually immediately).
1. Delete it yourself (fastest)
If you can sign in, you can delete your own account:
- Open the Inspire Courts app (or go to your account on the website).
- Go to Profile → Edit Profile.
- Scroll to the Delete Accountsection and follow the confirmation steps (you'll be asked to type DELETE, and to re-enter your password if you sign in with one).
2. Ask us to delete it (email fallback)
If you can't sign in — or you want us to remove a player or guardian record that isn't tied to a login — email clarksportsmanagement@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or include enough detail for us to locate the record (name, and the email or phone number used). We may ask you to verify your identity before deleting data.
3. What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your user record — name, email, phone, role, and hashed password.
- Your device push-notification tokens, so the app stops sending you notifications.
- Any staff shift photos, uploaded files, and app usage data tied to your account.
- Your links to teams, players, scores, and announcements you've touched (these are unlinked from you).
4. What we may keep (and why)
A limited set of records is retained after deletion where the law or our accounting obligations require it:
- Payment records — kept up to 7 years for tax and accounting (IRS). Card numbers are never stored by us — they are handled by Square.
- Signed liability waivers — retained for the life of participation plus 2 years for liability defense.
- Audit logs — administrative-action records kept up to 2 years for security and compliance.
These retained records are minimized and access-controlled, and are deleted once the retention period ends.
5. Timeline
Self-service deletions take effect immediately. Email requests are processed as quickly as possible and always within 30 days. We'll confirm by email once your account has been deleted.
